Attention all participants and stakeholders of the MYM Futsal Challenge! We’re excited to announce a significant update to Section 5 of the tournament regulations, effective immediately. This update introduces new criteria for determining a player’s affiliation with a specific island, aiming to promote inclusivity and fairness in the competition.
Previously, only players with an ID card registry to a specific island were counted as representatives of that island. However, in line with our commitment to embracing diversity and community ties, we are expanding the criteria for player eligibility.
New Criteria for Island Affiliation
1. Parental Affiliation: If a player’s mother or father belongs to a certain island, the player will now be counted as a representative of that specific island.
2. Marital Affiliation: Additionally, if a player is married to an individual from a certain island, they will also be counted as a representative of that island.
These new criteria supplement the existing requirement for players with ID card registry to a specific island. We believe that this update will foster a stronger sense of community engagement and encourage broader participation from diverse backgrounds.
